I installed and accually have SWG on my PC. Think I will grind Vik to arc and get going on a Guild Hall. /evillaugh

Don't espect a lot from the EMU yet, it has a lot of potential and you'll get a great nostalgia buzz form it, but it needs more time. I know Negilum, Mobus and I recreated the same toons with the same look as before to add to the nostalgia. Maybe we can all get together some day, swoop to where FO used to be and talk about the good old days like old people do  For me, traveling back to the Mos Espa spaceport's medical center brought back lots of memories of tumblers that I used to AFK heal for medical XP... which reminds me of how much time I spend online but AFK and still getting XP by the truckload. |

It's missing missions which should be in soon, they're written but not scripted. housing should be coming soon and with it arch. Pve's unbalanced you you need a group for anything high end like NS and the DWB. Ranged profs defences isn't working right. They're still missing some crafting schems but most are in, no DE, Arch, or BE, partial AS and WS. CH isn't in yet. But they should be pushing a new patch soon. Was supposed to come last friday. They're "maybe" 2 months from releasing 1.0 version for test.

I think I am going to have to donate a few bucks to these guys. I am VERY impressed that they have gotten this far. Wonder if any for them used to work on SWG. Cause building a deamon from the ground up is damn impressive.

It is damn impressive. The ironic thing is that recreating SWG also meant recreating all of its bugs! The rubber banding is horrendous, for example (but endearing at the same time). It will be interesting to see how they handle all the things that were...and now are again, wrong with the game. But it doesn't matter, we always loved it just the way it was, even if we did complain sometimes. And like a beat up old car, we'll continue to do so!! And yeah, I tried to make Mobus look just like the old Mobus - but it didn't quite work out. Still, you'll recognize him. And Vik...boy am I glad you are joining in on the fun! It has been too long. |
