Didn't know you played WoW Jwei. And I haven't tried it. I'm staying away from WoW, and mmo's in general until the kotor mmo comes out. I've been enjoying playing non-mmo games way too much. I just don't have much time for them when I play a mmo. I get too absorbed in the mmorpg to play other games very much. <3 Pause and Save. lol

Ha, that's basically all I would do when I played WoW: BG's. I was a pvp addict. I love 5-mans too, but you can't do those all day unless you pug. And pugging is just scary.

You mean you just picked it up *again* a couple weeks ago, right? Not that you just started a couple weeks ago?
If you just started, how in the world are you lvl 70 with all those epics already?! 0.o

I used to pvp with disc and shadow priest all the time back in BC but i just got tired of it after a month or two.. So when WotLK came out i figured I would try out holy and it has been working out pretty well.. www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Silvermoon&n=SredonGot into one of the nicer raiding guilds and have just been casually playing for a couple of months now. WotLK is much better than BC in my opinion. The quests are much more entertaining along with the story (i hear, i didnt actually read into it), and the heroix are not too bad either.. but mob is right, pugging is pretty damn iffy.

That's cool. I wasn't interested in WoTLK at first, but I've been gaining a growing interest lately. Probably because I'm missing out lol. I absolutely loved the Outlands, so something better than that sounds intriguing. But alas, I just got a PS3, and am still enjoying all the PS2 games I missed out on. (MGS Essential Collection baby!) Starting up WoW again would result in the neglect of my loverly Playstations! As for the pugs, they really are terrible. Sometimes you'll get a great one, or one with just one bad apple that you have to kick and replace, but usually it is just a nightmare. I love grouping with the Blood Knight guys (Syek, Jen, Ehrgeiz, Rich, Eoro, etc.), though. Our 5-mans have always been my best experiences with WoW. I have a ton of good memories with that crew. After running with them, any pug just feels sub-par. Those guys are the only reason I miss WoW, honestly. Sure it is a good game on its own, but the people really make any MMO. That's why when everyone left SWG it just wasn't the same, and never was again. Let's be honest, SWG never was a great MMO on its own. It always had numerous, huge, glaring issues. Game-breaking issues. HUGE balance issues. But it didn't matter, it was a blast because the other players were so much fun to be around. Same with WoW, for me. That's why I miss it. It's not really WoW that I miss, but my friends playing it. *sigh* Too bad I always play way too much when I'm subscribed, I can't balance WoW with anything else in my life haha. All things in moderation, they say. lol, I love WoW's subtle little "go outside!" loading screen "tips." Does it still have those?

Yes it still have those little tips, actually there are a couple of different ones now lol.
I agree with you about the community of MMO's. If there wasnt a bunch of ppl playing them, i would only play them as long as i play any other single player game, which is only about a week or two. If that....
Luckily for me though i just happened to stumble across a guild that is pretty well balanced with some nice characters in it.. However they tend to take things out of context which can be very annoying. It doesn't help that I attempted to scam them once with the whole "DKP" bs lol.
I'm not trying to convince anyone to try it I was just asking if anyone did so that we could possibly hang out in game at some point. Afterall, we all met in an MMO and i havnt seen you guys in about 2 or 3 years now.
And whatever happend to Eoro and Oseh? I think ive seen Neek on these boards more often then them lately lol

I'd love to come back, if the days were twice as long as they are. Or if I didn't need to sleep! lol Right now I have the time to play, but I know I won't in the near future so I don't want to get back into it. I wish there was a way for me to like...spectate. haha I could be a weird pervy ghost dude that just watches you sometimes and says creepy things every once in a while. That would be awesome. And the whole time I'd be like "guess where my right hand is?" lol =P Edit: Also I don't have the money to spare anyway. I even canceled my loverly Gamefly membership and have been trading my games for "new" ones online lol. <3 Goozex. You guys should try it out.

I can understand not playing when strapped for cash, but there is plenty of time to play other stuff. I'm replaying fallout 3 again and have played and beat most recently fable 2 and GoW 2 before that while still getting to 80 and raiding.
Oh and I've been reading lots of star wars EU stuff...makes me almost want to play SWG again then I think of how bad it is now. I want them to make a MMO that isn't a before or during the SW movies but after, SO much stuff they could work with.

But I never could. I don't know why, but all my other gaming would just cease when I played MMO's. They were all I wanted to play. I guess that's more accurate than saying I didn't have the time for other games. I just spent all my time playing MMO's because I didn't want to play anything else. lol I can't wait for the KOTOR mmo. I love the KOTOR time line and it is perfect for a MMO because they don't have to worry about nearly as many canon issues like SWG did, or if they made a game in the EU after the movies, which is now full of book-canon that the devs would have to dance around. They have a lot more freedom with the MMO being made in the KOTOR time-line. Have you read Shatterpoint? I really enjoyed that. Mace Windu is the main character in that one. My favorite Star Wars books were the Han Solo ones. There's the Han Solo Adventures series: Han Solo at Stars' End, Han Solo's Revenge, Han Solo and the Lost Legacy. And then The Paradise Snare, The Hutt Gambit, and Rebel Dawn. Careful, one or more of those books might make you cry! lol The Han Solo books were hands-down my favorite Star Wars books. All six of them were better than any others I've read, but some others have come very close, like Shatterpoint, Labyrinth of Evil, and Rogue Planet - which features a gas planet named Mobus. teehee I couldn't get myself to finish the X-Wing series. I don't know why. I just kind of lost steam halfway through the third book and stopped reading. I don't think I really liked the main character. That kind of makes it hard to stick with a book, let alone of long series of books about him. Oh wells. I want to make it through the series some day. I have the 4th book, I believe, and it probably still looks brand-new because I haven't cracked it open yet. Maybe I'll like the series better now. Sometimes your tastes change, and it was years ago now that I tried to read that series. lol, I'm hoping I can finally sit down and read through the LOTR books someday. It's so hard to read a book you've seen the movie of, let alone 3 really long-ass books. I don't like knowing what's gonna happen. >.<
