Well I can't really say cya, because I will still see you on the forums and I don't play the game anymore. But I'll say it anyway! Cya Pei. It was nice having you in RSF. I'm glad you finally found your main system databank. It just goes to show that persistance pays off! lol And whatever your reasons, I think everyone can understand you leaving the guild at this point. I say that because of the shape SWG is in. I don't know your specific reasons, but it seems to me that every problem in-game seems magnified when a game is in bad shape. Or at least when you percieve it to be in bad shape. I know not everyone thinks the game is suffering, and that means that for them, it isn't. Perception is reality. But it's like in real life when things aren't going your way. The battery in your car is dead and now you have to charge it. No worries, you're in no rush. You're just going to return a movie to Blockbuster. But add in that right after that you were going to a hearing (you're being sued) in 30 minutes, and you'll be 10 minutes late if you can charge the battery in 20...and suddenly you have a problem. Sorry, I tried not to be corny or long-winded, I really did! lol /salute Pei

Ok I dont' want to pry, but I have to ask, what is it with you two? Why is it that I am reading and hearing problems only with you two?
Look, I'm not trying to ask anyone to point fingers but it seems its not RSF having problems. Its between you two. I'm going to give you my two cents. Mobus did hit the spot with his post, I'll just add my advice.
Yes, its hard recruiting members into the guild, especially in a game where progress for such a pretigious title remains slow at best. Therefore, getting new recruits and such is pretty much hard.
With that being said, Peicubo and Lezaro, let me ask you something. What does swg have that no other game can compare? What is your most favourite thing to do in game? What is your most favourite thing to do in game WITH the guild?
I suggest you two start there, you can answer these questions in this thread. However, more importantly I think you two need to clarify what exactly makes a guild fun. Dont' think about your self at the moment, just imagine what would make the game and RSF to be more fun.
I know both of you have two different types of strategy to improve or enhance RSF, but I'm not referring to that at all in this post. You two need to calm down, stop getting on each others nerves and justify the cause and effect of RSF's future.
If you look at the whole picture, both of you aren't doing any favours for the future of RSF right now. I dont' want to sound prudish, but thats what it seems. Both of you have done great deeds for the RSF. I'm not asking the two of you to bring balance to the force. Just work together and think whats best for the guild, instead of what makes it fun for "me."
Again, I don't mean to pry and I dislike writing posts like this, especially when I no longer play a game I used to love. Both of you are an asset to the guild. At the same time the two of you are apples and oranges. Try working together.
It can only get better from there.

Question1: Good History Question2: Hang out with oseh and kindreth Question3: Talking
And the only difference me and pei have is our recruiting tactics.. he likes to spam and bring random people into the guild and i like to try and give the guild a good name and have people ask to join rather then us ask them to join.. and the arguements start because he breaks my strategy by making us look bad... by either: pulling out destroyed vehicles to lag people; calling everyone who complains about it a carebear; spamming about how we want people in the guild (which i personally think makes us look desperate); or argueing with a lot of the people he talks to.
I'm not saying his strategy wouldnt work but its main audience is new people and new people tend to either.. a) ask a lot of questions... or ... b) screw us over.. which if you remember pei happened to you before.

I think you two need to find a middle ground. Neither one of your strategies will work well if you desire guild growth. There's the noob issue with overt advertisement and lax inviting, and then there's the fact that too few people will join when you wait for them to ask first.
If you have requirements that must be met and only invite people you have played with enough to know their general personality, there will be fewer problems. The requirements can be anything, but the most important thing (this is all opinion by the way =P) is that they meet your expectations for desired maturity level of members. If they are mature, then all the rest should fall in to place. Mature people don't steal from the guild, for example. Only morons with a general disregard for everyone but themselves do things like that. Mature people would also have a desire to help out fellow guild mates, and so on etc blabla whatever you want!
Give new members a week or two where they are in the guild but considered an initiate. If after the trial period there are no complaints from guild members, you keep them. If they're annoying, jerks, whatever, boot 'em. There’s growth, but also filtration so that the undesirable people don’t get in and stay in.
But more pressing than any of that is you two getting along. Don’t let something like guild recruitment get in the way of friendship. Its not as important.

Lol...Have fun then! But I don't think Pei enjoys it like you do Lez. =P You should become a lawyer Lez. You would get to argue every single day.
Study hard!
