STAR WARS GALAXIES: AN EMPIRE DIVIDED®, ALL OF THE GAME'S EXPANSION PACKS, AND A SPECIAL DVD OF BONUS FEATURES COMBINE FOR THE MOST INCLUSIVE STAR WARS GALAXIES EXPERIENCE EVER RELEASED

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – July 20, 2006 – LucasArts and Sony Online Entertainment today announced Star Wars Galaxies: The Complete Online Adventures, the most inclusive Star Wars Galaxies experience ever released. The Complete Online Adventures is scheduled to be available at retail stores nationwide November 2006 for a suggested retail price of $29.99.

The Complete Online Adventures features the base game, Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, along with all three of the game's expansions: Jump to Lightspeed ® , Rage of the Wookiees™, and Trials of Obi-Wan™. In addition, Star Wars Galaxies subscribers will automatically receive a series of game updates that are scheduled to be released by LucasArts and Sony Online Entertainment throughout 2006, filled with new content, features and gameplay enhancements.

In addition to the hundreds of hours of gameplay included in The Complete Online Adventures, the game is also slated to include a bonus DVD filled with premium content including:

Thanks Neg! I spam hard. And thanks for clearing that up about the AT-RT. I don't know why SOE does this. I don't think SWG is the only game they do it to. But I'm not surprised, considering SOE is the same company who's owner wants to have an online shopping mall for future games where you buy items for your game characters with real life money. That just screams greedy bastard to me. I don't care for SOE. It may not be the fault of the devs, because their bosses are the suits who are probably the ones who fuck everything up for SWG, but that doesn't change the fact that SOE is a terrible, greedy, lying sack of shit.

What's even worse is that SOE usually hides behind its devs, letting them take all the blame even if it wasn't their decision to assfuck the game. I've only seen Smed come out to take responsibility and defend his decision once. Nothing from LA though. Then again, they probably think the problem is with the game and the people, not themselves and their development/money whoring tactics.
