Yes wii points, used to buy the classic games and the browser if you want it. I believe you get some when you buy the system.

How do you get more...and what are they used for after you buy those games and the browser? You don't have to spend them monthly to keep that stuff do you...?
I like the sound of everything but the Wii points lol.

biggest reason. The price. Bingo. That plus it's the only one that is actually better than previous consoles. Xbox360? Give me a break. All they did was give it faster hardware. That's not enough. The Wii is revolutionary and just plain saweet. |

So oseh you don't want to play the game in development by lucas arts where you swing the controller just like the saber on screen? PS3 is just an upgraded PS2 and nothing more while a Wii can play flash games as well as classic games from sega, turbo gfx 16, nes, snes, n64, sega cd, sega saturn and more as then come out. Oh well enjoy the PS3 when you can get it in about a year I'll enjoy my xbox 360 and Wii for the same price.  |

FIGHT! FIGHT! To each his own, but I'm with Ehrgeiz. The other consoles are just upgrades in power, right? This Wii thing is not only MUCH cheaper, but it's also MUCH more creative. I like originality.
Also, games should be a lot more fun and interactive with this controller. The thing I couldn't stand about consoles was their controllers. The mouse + keyboard beat any controller out there. It was more accurate, more customizable, etc. Trying to aim with an "up, down, left, right" thingy was a pain in the ass, and the joystick-style knobs weren't much better.
This Wii controller takes it to the next step.
I'm still not sure if I want one, but if I do get a console, it'll be the Wii.

I'm just messing with oseh  , I want a PS3 as well but I'm holding off as its so expensive and will be super hard to find. I agree with you mobus its the next step, oh and there is a normal controller for those that don't like the wiimote. |

I haven't looked at the PS3, but the price alone is enough to deter me completely. The Wii is expensive enough for me...but maybe my parents won't give me the "you're 18 now, ask for clothes" thing this Christmas. Maybe they can empty their wallets for it!!! muhahaha ;D
