The combat may resemble WoW, but that is because WoW's combat system is based off the "classic mmorpg" combat system. The kind used in EQ and such. At least that is what I've been told and what I've read. I don't see many similarities other than that. The game is going to be a lot closer to WoW than SWG in almost every aspect, though, because SWG is one of the few mmorpgs to completely break the mold. The CU was the closest thing to any other mmorpg, and the NGE isn't even close to any I know...although it will be by the time they get it polished I bet.
The graphics in LOTRO are absolutely stunning when you turn them up. Maybe the best outdoors graphics I've ever seen. They rival Oblivion...and run smoother too. I don't have much to say about anything else, I haven't had a chance to play it much. And I don't think I'm supposed to anyway. =P

Mobus which server are you in? also what is your name?
well i will say this much for some of the instences, i like the one where the npc actualy goes with you and fights with ya. that is something new. well it is for me. seems like maby that LOTR is more interactive. But still they need to add more classes and more races. and make some of these missions a little harder.
but you are correct, the graphics are awsome and run smother, wounder which engine they are using.

Mobus on Brandywine. But I haven't worked up the gumption to play after they wiped my character. =( He was low level, only a couple hours to get back to that level, but they were a wonderful couple of hours!!! lol
