lol.
You know that South Korea's main sport is Progaming right?
Basically our version of Basketball, Football and so on is representing by them as video games.
Our version of NBA, NFL and what not is known to them as Cyber games.
These gamers, IE: tossgirl is a gamer that plays on a professional level. What does that mean? Well the average salary of a professional starcraft player is around at least 125,000 United States dollars a year. This is all money that is sponsored. As for the awards that they win in tournaments, that is solely bonus, assuming they win. Now the interesting part about professional gamers, like our north american athletes, they are huge celebrities over there. Its quite an interesting culture really.
As for tossgirl, she is the most hottest and best female starcraft player arguably in the world. Currently she is trying to make her way up the male league.
I hope this sheds some light on them. If you really want to know some crazy skills go to youtube.com and type bisu vs savior 2007 invitational tournament. I find it quite interesting to watch because its pretty amazing of what they can do. I also feel stupid now whenever I play RTS multiplayer games because knowing that they are people like that in the world makes me think I should just focus on better things in life.
Tossgirl can do 360 actions per minute. So... selecting a unit is one action, where as moving a unit is another action. Now think 360 actions per minute. She's really hot, I have to say. And like I said before, in south korea its actually normal to ask a girl out to a Cybercafe or arcade. Its kinda funny and.... makes me jealous too. Mainly cuz theres alot of hot girls playing games. Oh yeah, you can watch her play on youtube as well.
