Herrow everyone.
I need a huge favour from somebody who lives in the States. You see, there is a game called Rock Band that is being released on my birthday, November 20.
For those who don't know what Rock Band is, it is made by the same creators of Guitar Hero. Now for those who don't know what Guitar Hero is; basically, it is a game where you can live out your dream to play a guitar - and be really good! Not to mention, the game is just really really fun when you have a party or groups of friends around.
With that being said, the reason I need your help is that Rock Band is being delayed in Canada. Most likely, because of the new Canadian Dollar being higher than America, it has become more or less an annoyance for American Companies exporting to us. Hence, our date of release is december 17. Personally, I can't wait that long and wish to have it "purchased" on my birthday instead.
Now, heres where you guys come in, the americans. Can anyone buy the package for me and ship it to me? I will more than happy pay you back and perhaps add a little Christmas present for my gratitude?
You guys know me right? I promise I will not be an arse and not pay you back. We've known each other for like...(most of you) almost 4-5 years? I would be more than happy to pay for the shipping as well. Basically, all I ask is that you go and buy the game package and send it. You will get all your money back and a nice gift from me!

Do you only need the game or do you need the game and the guitar/drums/mic?
I guessing you need the xbox 360 version, that is 299.00 dollars for the bundle, If you only need the game I can get it for you but I can't spot the 300 bucks.

You know I'd love to help you out Jwei, but I don't think I'll be able to. I just won't have that kind of money after paying to get my car running again. I rear-ended someone...not one of the best moments of my life! lol
Neg is going to think that's hilarious, because he always made fun of my driving in SWG. =P It's no surprise I ended up with a pizza delivery job, is it Neg? lol xD

Well, if Ehr is right and it is indeed 299$ I won't bother. I'll just wait till it comes to Canada. But I really thought that it was going to be on sale for approx 170$.

Well I don't know if I am right I looked more when I got home from work and there are all kinds of different prices out there on the net. I don't think they have released a real price yet so most are guessing. If its lower I could get it for you if I can find any when they come out.

Finally found a price, its 169.99 for the 360 version but I can't pre-order it and I'm almost positive it will be sold out. I also can't swing the money as this check just paid for my house/car so I'm low on funds until the 21st. Sorry dark i'm no help.

I know I am asking alot, so don't feel bad if you have to say no. Just a suggestion if you could pre-order.
Also. Does anyone feel like lending me their address? I wanna buy something... but it only ships to the States... Man time like this I wish I was an American. Again, I will gladly pay for the shipping.

I suggest Oseh just look into. Although both looking would be much faster, I don't think its a good idea because just like oseh said... I don't want to accidentally get two Rock Bands lol. Besides, I think Ehr just used up his last paycheck for bill payments. I don't want to pressue him.
So Oseh, if you could look into for it and let me know that would be awesome man.
I'll definitely pay you back.
Could I buy something and mail it to you too? lol... assuming you get rock band as well?

You may be able to go to a Gamestop store and preorder it in person. That way they will reserve one for you when they get them. Then it is just a matter of pickin' it up.
I've never done it myself, I prefer having it brought to my doorstep, but that's the method I heard about with Gamestop.

I could get it pre-ordered but here is the problem, they are taking pre-orders but are unsure if they can honor all of them because the demand is so high and the supply is so limited. I want the game as well but I think I may be waiting until after christmas to get it.
