funny story. That picture with the girl in the wonder bread t shirt - there was a girl in SWG who said that was her.

For the longest time, geeks would believe her and just love to know who they were talking to.

Now, that picture is everywhere and probably those geeks feel stupid. At least I hope so.

I'd rather burn the monthly payment each month then give it to them.

I understand your feelings Ehrgeiz. And they are certainly warranted. They kicked us in the balls many times. But the thing is that I don't know exactly who did it. Who was behind the decisions? Was it SOE? Was it LA? Both? Was it the dev team (which now has been completely replaced with new people), or was it the suits? Both?

For all I know the people behind the decision making a) didn't even work at SOE, or b) don't work there anymore. Or, they could *all* still be there. Or maybe it was on person, maybe it was all Smedley's fault. But maybe not.

My point is that I just don't know, and if I can have a ton of fun in the game again, I'm going to. I may not like giving SOE money, but I figure maybe they deserve a second (or as I said before, thousandth) chance now that the dev team is completely new. Maybe some cool things will keep happening to the game without all the bullshit that was a part of it before.

Is it illogical to give them money again? Hell yes. But some of the best things are illogical, or come about from foolish and illogical actions.

I'm not trying to defend the company or my opinions or anything, and I'm not saying that you're wrong - because you definitely aren't. It only makes sense to not want to give SOE any money ever again after the shit they pulled on us. What I am doing is just trying to explain my viewpoint and reasoning for playing again - so you don't think I'm completely crazy, and so other people don't feel completely crazy if they want to come back too. ;D (even if maybe they are! haha)

I'm willing to play it again because it is fun again - and that's good enough for me.
