There is a fine line between 'Correct' and "not correct' and let me tell you something, we are playing right on it!

Serve me up another high fast one over the plate like that again, and I'll really knock it out of the park. You guys should feel relieved - that was just a bunt. ;D Those are some strong knees, Kula Bruno

Obviously Neek has the wrong impression... or idea... or... I'm actually not sure what that comment was directed towards, so I'll fill you guys in on the history of our usage of the word spank. In this tale, there is no "correct" or "not correct" line to cross. There is only spank. And it is long... Go back to 1996 with me. Can you guys remember what you were doing in 1996? Well, X and I were in college at UGA (yes, that's right, the one in Georgia) and we had just started dating. As with every couple that is trying to get to know each other better (no one go there, really... it won't be pretty if you do...), X shared one of his hobbies with me. As it turned out, he was working in what amounted to his own office on campus with a hella fast computer connection and several computers in the same room, most of which were at his disposal. Ready for his hobby? I'm not sure most of you will even know that these existed before Star Wars and EverQuest, but here we go! *evil grin* He played a TEXT MUD. That's right folks. I remember a time when you actually had to use your imagination and read a description on the screen to "see" what was going on in the game. Ahhh... the tragedy that is today's youth.... I digress... anyway, my little brother started to play on the MUD with us. One day, while bored, someone discovered that there was an emote (that came stock with the codebase that the MUD used no less, so someone had a sense of humor) called spank. When you used it, it literally said "[NAME] spanks you long and hard. It hurts to watch." I can't tell you how funny my brother thought that was. Suddenly, everytime we logged in, we'd get "spanked." Eventually, we started spanking people back. It just became a funny in joke and a way for us to identify each other despite changing character names. We even recruited a poor soul named Karl into our spanky circle. He's never been the same since. Now flash forward a couple of years to 1999. Enter EverQuest. The entire spank circle (all 4 of us) migrated to a specific server. EQ later introduced chat channels, so we made a spank channel. Over the years, the channel grew in size to include a relatively large number of people, and we became known as the Legion of Spank (devoted to just having fun and not being offended). We played the game at our own pace, saw things in a different light than most, and had a hell of a time doing it. Just ask our old guild Reviviscence. I don't think they've ever been the same, either. I guess what I'm saying is that the actual word "spank" has evolved to mean just about everything imaginable. It's a noun, pronoun, verb, adjective, direct object, and probably other parts of speech that I can't recall right now. It's a generic name, an affectionate title, a method of admonition, and it makes us smile everytime someone "gets it" and joins the circle. We were so proud of Bruno when he figured it out. LOL Anyways... I don't want anyone to think "spank" has crossed the line in any way. We won't stop using the word. We've been doing it for too long. If it offends someone, I'm sorry you're offended, but I won't change what's been a part of our lives since 1996. Come talk to me if you still think it crosses any lines, Neek (or anyone else for that matter). At the very least, I can try to figure out what line it is you think we're on the verge of crossing. I think everyone will be fine if they can remember that the 'official' definition of spank no longer applies to it's usage in game. Kula

Nah, i was just kidding, you didn't need a full page explanation for this but i figured that people were talking about liking your C's yesterday, when came the big pussy, then spanking so I was just hoping you wouldn't get freaked out and left the guild...
Personally, I love all 3. Big pussy(cat), nice C's and the occasional spanking...
I think the bare @ss open hand is my favorite.

You'll know when I'm offended. No need to worry about me. If I'm still talking, it's all good. I appreciate the concern though. Kula

Great, I'm glad we're on the same page... I didn't get offended by it, I to have no self respect and love that kind of non-sense conversation. I was just hoping we didn't go too far and say disrespectful things!
Love my cloak!

I didn't give you the WP because I went back there and he was gone. Once he gave me his quest, he disapeared. I had marked the waypoint but when I went back he wasn't there anymore.
It's not because I didn't want to help, it's because giving you the waypoint where I found him would have been useless. He wasn't there anymore.
