I just couldn't believe this. It's CGI, it doesn't show actual gameplay (obviously). But it does show a passion for the universe that I just don't think we saw from SOE. That's what I got from it, anyway. It may not be true, but it's what I think. Plus, it's pure badass. I'll definitely be watching it dozens of times tonight... Seriously.

And you'll notice they included the companion mechanic in this CGI vid of theirs. That's what I assume the hot Twi'lek chick is, and maybe even the hot BH chick, too. They know us male players will be choosing female companions, so why not make them both female in the CGI vid?! haha, I love Bioware!!

Edit: Watched it 3 or 4 times now. That astromech droid unit is probably supposed to be a companion character, too. And I noticed this before, but forgot to comment on it. All the force users are wearing armor. Lord Angral even uses force lightning in that armor, armor with electronic parts. The reasoning for Vader not being able to use force lightning was because of his armor. 0.o And in the KOTOR games, you couldn't use most force powers while wearing armor. One of which was force lightning. I suppose that was just a game mechanic, though. They wanted you to wear the Jedi robes, not armor.

All-in-all, though, I don't care if they change some things up on us, like putting Jedi (and Sith) in armor just 'cause. It still looks awesome.

My jaw stayed dropped throughout the entire thing the first time I watched it. I was just blown away. Some people were commenting on how it was better than the 3 prequel Star Wars movies combined, haha! I don't agree, but it was seriously amazing. I want a whole movie like that. Heck, if only they could make a game *just like that.* But it's CGI, it isn't gameplay. It's enough to get us excited for the game; to get us excited for the story, setting, characters, vision, and possibilities.

But it's not gameplay. I think I said this before, but I really do hope this game sucks. Don't hate me. I love Bioware and I love Star Wars. But that's the *problem.* I don't want to get addicted to another MMO!!!!!! I wanted KOTOR3, not KOTORMMO. /sigh

I know I'll play this game. I know I'll plop down $15 a month for it, and countless hours. I know I'll lose sleep and put off/completely ignore important real life things because of it.

So please, TOR, suck balls.

I am sorry to say Mobus, I think this is going to better then SWG. U will get addicted to it. From everything I have read and watched it is going to be awesome. We will once again be spending hours grinding, questing, grinding, and yes even messing around. The only thing i will miss that SWG had to offer that TOR wont is housing. I loved that aspect of the game.
But as far as game play and story line Tor looks like it is going to be awesome. I am just hoping they come out with more playable classes.

If they take on too much at once we'll just get another SWG. They can always add those things later. Whether or not they will is another story, but I think if there's enough of an interest for it in the community, they will.

From what I understand its multiple worlds, jedi home world, hutt world, corosant etc so I think its going to be as big if not bigger then SWG was world wise which would be amazing. I can not wait.
