My Calc 2 teacher wrote 09/09/09 9:09.9 on the board this morning (my class starts at 9AM). His watch went off at 9:09AM, at which point he counted nine seconds and then had what he called a "moment of silence" for "NINE NINE NINE NINE NINE NINE!" It was a loud moment of silence, with him squealing happily and a few of us students, myself included, laughing. I thought it was a glorious moment. I couldn't help but be caught up with joy at how wonderfully nerdy and beautiful it all was.

Here's a fun 9-fact for ya. Turns out, 9 times any single-digit number equals a number that when you add together the numbers making up that number, you get 9.

For example:
9*9=81 8+1=9
9*7=63 6+3=9

Works every time, for every single-digit number. But what about double-digit numbers? Well...

9*89=801 8+0+1=9
9*54=486 4+8+6=18 8+1=9
9*63=567 5+6+7= 18 8+1=9
9*74=666 6+6+6=18 8+1=9

Works every time.

So far it's worked for every 4-digit number I've multiplied 9 by as well. And every 5...lol, That's all I have time for. It's very cool!!!

9/9/9 is cool, but not as much as 6/6/6 which was totally awesome.

The best will be 11/11/11 11:11:11 because that won't be 6 of the same digits in a row, it will be 12!
