Target Launch Window for The Old Republic

There's an official launch window, finally. That window is: Spring 2011. www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=109426

I've been reading more about SWTOR, lurking the forums, watching some interviews, etc. It's shaping up nicely! They've included player ships, which is what I am most pleased to see. It's still unclear if you'll actually be able to take the reigns and fly manually, or if they'll just get you from place to place like shuttles in SWG. But they are stated to be your home and base of operations, like in KOTOR. I think that rocks!

As far as classes go, I'm leaning towards Consular for my first go around. Of all the classes, I think that one would most likely be what I would want as my main. However, as story is what Bioware does best, I'm definitely going to want to play through every class storyline.

I think I might go soldier or the jedi opposite of consular lol. Wow i'm lacking sw knowledge right now.

I want to try all the classes, but yes, I want to go light side first and I want that to be my main faction. It's still unclear whether or not you will be able to create characters on both factions on the same server, though.

But I may not get my wish of playing on the light side. In WoW everyone went Horde so I had to switch over. Now, the Horde aren't exactly the bad guys, but they were the opposite of what I wanted to play! haha

We'll see. I may have to use Jedi mind tricks on some people to get them to play light side!
