That was pretty funny, thanks for taking me out and getting me some new robes they rock. Are you enjoying the game? I had a blast the first two weeks to a month the last time I played (I can't remember exactly how long it was), but things started to slow down for me when I realized how slow SOE was with those patches. I didn't see much hope in sight for my favorite profession: Smuggler. And there was absolutely no talk of any content for my favorite part of the game: space. I was still having fun, but it got me down. Eventually I had to choose between WoW and SWG again, so I chose the healthier game that was making improvements (abliet slowly, still faster than SOE) to my favorite class. But I was still having fun in SWG at the time. But I can tell you one thing. If they ever get around to giving smugglers the ability to smuggle (they promised it over 3 years ago), I and many others will be back in a heartbeat. Also, even with all it's problems, it is still a fun game. My problem, other than the smuggler issue, the lies, and the underhanded business tactics, is the bugs and slow patches that break the things they weren't even working on. I'm spoiled by Blizzard. They're a huge company with more resources I guess. They catch more bugs, give more content and good changes every patch, and have a more polished and finished game. It's because they have more money, I'm sure, and a bigger team. I'm glad that you guys are still having a blast in SWG though! I would too if I wasn't hooked on my Druid in WoW.  And I would love to come back and join you! Just tell SOE to hurry up on making smugglers smugglery! I want to fill my freighter to the brim with illegal goods and piss off a few Star Destroyers on my way to deliver them! |

It's funny...I thought that was a quote that a Blizzard dev had made until I read it in my sig here again...lol. I was like "wtf? Blizz said they'd never ever do that!" Then I remembered...it was SOE who thought it was impossible. Edit: In fact, I just got done playing on TC and testing it. They have three test servers up and it works, you can and do play against people from the other two servers as well. No more bg queues! =D |
