Gank Squads

Ok, I know I'm imperial and all, but for fucks sake, what the hell is with the gank squads surrounding the Imp camp near restuss. You can say whatever the hell you want about what I have to say, but this needs to come out.

I am SICK of the rebels resorting to pansyass tactics. In case you were'nt there, allow me to fill you in. The Rebs were surrounding the camp by the dozens, and any attempt to get into the city by an Imperial was thwarted. Pretty good strategy, except for one thing....i was trying to LEAVE the PVP zone from the camp, and becasue there are no markers showing where the PVP zone starts and ends. So I would get ganked several times trying to get out.

Before you say "Why don't you clone at the SP?" Well for some reason I am unable to. I HAVE to clone at the camp. I must be bugged or something. Game restarts won't fix it.

SO, unitl the rebs back the hell away from the Imp camp, I'm pretty much screwed. I won't be participating in the Restuss PVP for a while, and even when I do resume, you won't see me camping the Rebel camp. WHY?? Because I don't play dirty.

SWG almost lost another player tonight because of this. Thankfully, I have somewhat managed to calm myself down. I play this game because it takes my mind off of Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Lebanon, and North Korea. So when I can't enjoy it, you can understand I get pretty pissed off.

Like I said you can call me a carebear or whatever you want, but I was at least attempting to PvP. But I can only fall off the horse so many times before I shoot it instead of getting back on.

With that said, have fun in Restuss. To Hell with the Mando Hilt for now. If you need anything, send me a /tell. I'll be doing something that doesn't piss me off.

Xaira, I completely understand where you are coming from...Same has happened with imps at the rebel base before... stupidass players not playing fairly...If ya want the hilt...ill pvp with flanora by your side till you get it...its bullshit how some players do, and what they need to do to win...most cant win 1 vs 1 with a jedi so they bring bigass gankswuads and think they are uber after they kill you...anyways, srry to hear about what the rebels are doing at the imp camp...rediculous...but let me know if ya want tha hilt...ill fight by ya till you get one

This is why I keep my pvp in wow where its balanced for group pvp and my warrior is so UBER he can take out 2-3 people .

Well after a day to cool off, I feel much better. However I still do not condone cheap tactics such as this. Personally, gank squads are a great way to have fun and feel good while doing so. But when the opponents are barely able to get off their feet, it's just plain wrong. But alas, there's not much i can do about it. I guess I'll just keep trying, I will not change faction just to get the hilt. Doing so is the cowards way out, and is against EH guild policy (frankly EH has been good to me). I guess I'll see you all in game.

Edit: I also miss my ships more and more each day. I may be coming back soon. If I do, I'll probably be in space most of the time. And I'd probably play a character on Starsider a lot, since that is where all the space pvp action is!

Hopefully I can wait until they do something nice with smuggler, though.

Yes mob's, there is a new hilt (mondo hilt) it gives better elemental damage but does ot have the Bonus stregth like the OR hilt does.
Also from what i have heard space pvp is picking up on our server. you should talk to raugilith and oseh about that, they do it alot.

Really?!! Space pvp used to be pretty much dead on Chilastra. It was depressing because space is my favorite part of the game, and because space, like the ground game, has little pve content.

I'm really tempted to come back now! But two mmorpgs...I put a good amount of time into WoW and still don't make much "progress." (Rarely do I get upgrades to my equipment...and it sucks lol) I don't think I'd get anywhere in either one if played WoW and SWG. If I try to play them both at the same time, that is. I could just pay for both and spend more time playing one, but then that is a waste of money!

I will agree to the evilness of WoW, but it doesn't come close to the evilness of SOE!

Dilemmas suck. I won't leave WoW for SWG, there's no dilemma there. SOE is too inconsistent. But it is hard to decide if I should try playing two again. It didn't work out the first time.

Tempting, but hard to justify with college, work (if I can ever find a job), daily house/yard duties, and general outside stuff like mountain biking.

I'll probably die one of these days in my stupid mountain biking wrecks and the way I drive, so why worry about all the rest? lol
