6: Has space been tampered with? nope, i think with the introduction of the restuss stuff, it actually gives you a reason to go to the pvp zones

2: What about the game is better than before? Eoros back and target lock and auto attack is coming back

3: What is worse than before? nothing really

4: What is the number one most annoying bug for you? the commando heal bug since everytime you fire with a heavy wep it counts as a special without a cooldown timer the heal usually never fires but the cooldown starts

5: Has ground combat improved? yup

6: Has space been tampered with? i dont know you guys know me and space lol

Well i hate the FPS stuff but i think the game looks more exciting then it did pre nge

hmm... the fact that GCW bases arent coming back

The occational heal bug or FR bug but those are very rare now

I'm disappointed. No one spanked Eoro.

But other than that, it sounds like some neat things have been done. Restuss pumping up pvp, improvements to how damage is done! I'm surprised that GCW bases are gone and not coming back. What is the reasoning behind this? That was always a lot of fun when you were in a pvp battle defending/attacking one. Going back and forth in a huge battle was laggy, but fun. I'll miss that. It was uber-rare though. It seems like Restuss provides the pvp people crave, which is good. But I wonder how long it will stay interesting to pvp around Restuss. And I am surprised to hear that it is actually making space pvp more active also! I wouldn't have expected that, and I love that it is so!

With target lock coming back next publish I get a kind of condescending feeling. They are reverting back to the way it was before. Now the main differences between CU and NGE will be that Jedi are chosen, not earned, there are less professions to choose from, and there are many less moves to use in combat.

If the expertise system introduces a lot of new abilities, the only differences should be that the NGE is "faster paced", which I can't really say is a bad thing. I do miss long duels, but Star Wars was fast paced I guess. (the Obi vs Vader duel in EpIII lasted for like 20 minutes though lol) But all this makes me wonder if they will do yet another complete overhaul. They are making some changes that make the game more like it was before, after all.

But I doubt they will. They accomplished their goals finally. Those goals were less work for them to do (less professions), making the game more iconic (the professions they chose to keep), and making it faster paced (they could have done that by tweaking numbers in the CU, but oh well).

I am sad to hear that they still neglect smuggler. I mean really, really neglect it. Still no smuggling three years after they said it was “right around the corner”? That’s sad. I completely understand why they can’t smuggle yet. They have to make more important changes to the game first. But that doesn’t mean I am not bothered by it. They take too long making those changes, often making the situation worse for themselves and lengthening the time it takes them to get to a point where they can finally say “We’re going to put smuggling in!” So far each time they have gotten to that point they have changed their minds, deciding a revamp of one sort or another was more important. Smuggling then would get pushed further and further down the development line. And so far it has never come to fruition.

All that and they let smuggler be the weakest class? Grrr!

But other than that, it sounds like the game is definitely better than when I left. I want to come back, but am not sure if it would be wise due to money and time constraints. I’m still of the opinion that playing one mmorpg is unwise, and playing two is insane. Lol But I never said I was wise or sane!

Thanks for the feedback fellas. Don’t be shy to add more if you think of something or something new is announced. Dev Tracker intimidates me, it’s very messy and hard for me to follow now. I couldn’t keep up when I still played, trying to make sense of it all weeks later is painful! So thank you very much for the replies!
