Man. Raph seems like the kind of guy I want making my mmorpg. SWG would be a better game if he was in charge of it the whole time. What he said about the NGE is very true, and it is what makes me hate ever paying SOE ANYTHING. You don't do that to a customer base. You just don't. And if you do, give them plenty of warning. Months. What they did was bullshit.
I'm surprised George let it happen. I'd be even more surprised if he had anything to do with it. Star Wars didn't start out being about the money. It shouldn't be that way now, either.
When Lucas made the first Star Wars, he was certain it wouldn't do well in the theaters. But he made it anyway because it was his passion, he loved the world he had created. Now where did that passion go? Is it all about the $$$, now that he is filthy rich and all of his movies have done astronomically well? Or is he just giving people so much free reign with his vision that they can royally ass fuck it like they have done to SWG?
I hope it is the last one, and I hope he stops it.
