Seems that I don't have it and you have to install that through the automatic updates?
This is weird because I have windows XP media center edition and I would assume that if it comes with windows, I should have it.

Bah, NM. The executable was there but windows didn't put it in the start menu. I'll get some fraps videos and check that program out. I'd be looking simple. Something with which I can take multiple movies, crop them and put them end to end and then add dramatic music.

Yeah, movie maker is what I use(d). It isn't great, but it's free, and good enough for simple things. My problem is that fraps doesn't work for me anymore lol. The program just won't open. For many people this has happened. It worked with the trial version, but as soon as we update to the full version or even get a newer trial version, it just won't open anymore. It's this problem with registries that keep reappearing. You can delete them and they appear again when you try to open Fraps. The only full-proof solution I have found is reinstalling windows. I even did what this site said: hem.bredband.net/heitai/fraps.htm, and that didn't work. The alternatives to fraps that I have found absolutely suck. So yeah! No more videos from this end of the internet!

So I filmed myself yesterday but tossed all the footage because it's a well known fact that when you have fraps filming, you don't get big crits anymore and get ganked all the time

I have the full version Jwei. That's not the problem. It's the registries that cannot be deleted by any means.
