OSEH!!! What game is it not working well enough for? I use a 9600 pro, and it works great for everything I've used it on except Oblivion...but my whole computer needs an upgrade for Oblivion lol.
The new video cards require a new kind of motherboard slot now, too. My 9600 is AGP 8x, the new ones are PCI 16x express or whatever. That has kept me from upgrading. To upgrade my video card I would also have to upgrade my motherboard, which means I'd also need a new cpu and new memory...annoying.
Oh and fires ROCK!

hi lez, hi mob,
well to begin with, SWG never did that great on it, had to run everything super low graphics to get like 20 FPS...
but now...I have officially started a new MMORPG....City of Heroes w000t, and it takes a good bit to run it, as with SWG, i have to run on superlow graphics to get decent performance...
AHH and yes, we burned some pallets, and the fire got about 20 feet high...lol it was awesome

I played CoH in open beta a bit. It was pretty dang fun, I must admit! But I didn't see it staying fun for very long. Or was that just the excuse I used because I didn't want to get hooked on yet another mmorpg? hmm...lol

yes..it is awesome, a lot different than SWG, but in a good way...clipping is on, so u actually run into people lol I play with a friend of mine form work and he says that it isnt very appealing at low lvl...i would agree, its still a LOT more intense than SWG, even at low lvl... His quote, "After you get higher up in level, the more magnificent it will get"... PVP must rock in this game, or so i have heard...you all should try the 14-day trial if you havent done it before... but as a rating for this game right now....8.5 where SWG topped at about 8.7 for me, thats after I got high level, and im only at lvl 16 on CoH and the rating is that high...  Ill post some screenies and vids when they come Seth |
