I'm not reading all that, but I glanced through it and it looks alright. My main question is this: Are they making crafter's the main source of people's equipment and other goods again?
I remember before I had to go to an armorsmith, weaponsmith, chef, and doctor before I had the right gear, buffs, and food to do well in battle. And then those guys had to go to each other, to bio-engineers, to droid engineers, etc. and so on. The crafting system rocked for the most part. Now shops are more of a novelty. The best items are quest rewards or rare drops. WoW anyone?
Decay and crafters were by far the healthiest part of the game, with the exception of 30 minute buff lines for a 2 hour buff that was *required* to play. That was excessive. Even dancers and musicians were needed and robust back then. Now they are in the same boat as crafters: next to useless.
So, are they making crafters useful or just more fluffy and pretty to look at?

in the next update they are giving crafters and entertainers expertise...
Crafters will be the main source of equipment again
Entertainers will probably be able to do all this special stuff, not sure havent heard much about it, but it sounds good.

I hope they will be the main source of equipment. What about Jedi? Will they still be completely self-reliant?
And will there be decay again?

i dont think there will be decay, dont know if there self reliant... but i have heard that crafters can make jedi special clothing they can wear rather then robes...
oh yeah, and medics buffs are actually useful again

No decay is bad, but crafted jedi clothing is good. Getting together a set from loot was very frustrating, and usually ended up in a terrible-looking outfit. The need to wear a hat for max stats is bothersome, also. Most of the hats look bad. Only the swoop helm looks decent to me, and it makes people look like children. lol
Still, with all the time they've had, you'd think that by now the NGE would be in much better shape than it is.
