Like all these mmo's, it depends on who you ask. If you ask me, yes. I enjoy it greatly. The group play in LOTRO is much better than any game I've played so far. So are quite a few other things, as well, but I think group (fellowship) play is the shining feature of LOTRO. They did an awesome job making each class unique, fun, and valuable to groups. I'd tell you more, but I don't want to right a book at the moment! lol =P

If you do decide to try it, hop onto the Elendilmir server. That is where I play, and a few other old SWG folks as well. Negilum and Ehrgeiz are there, you may remember them.

Np. I think you'll like it. If you liked the old SWG and you liked the LOTR books, you are almost bound to like it. And I know you liked the old SWG, lol. The game isn't like the old SWG was, but the community is really great like it was in SWG back then. <3

I downloaded mine, but that was during beta and from the official site. If it doesn't originate from lotro.turbine.com/, I wouldn't trust it, just to be safe. *shifty eyes*

Lore-master is a lot of fun, but the hardest class to play well. At least solo. But that is not a fact, I'm sure there are people who would say otherwise.
