Finally hit the top lvl in WoW without quitting more then twice on this character...
Server = Drak'thul Name = Toholez Class = Priest Spec = Holy Godly = Not yet
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Been playing today and i suck and keep making stupid noob mistakes lol.. kind of miss the fact that in SWG i became so used to it that i would rarely make mistakes about locations and stuff
Another issue im having with it is that i only have like 1 friend in WoW and that is a RL friend so that doesnt really count... So basically in SWG i had 40x more people to talk to when i couldnt find anything to do.

lol, Same on the noob mistakes! I just went back to WoW after taking a break. I feel like a real noob, but it is coming back to me. I left when I was 64, and was gone for 4 months. Today I hit 65! I look forward to 68 the most, because that is when I get flight form! Yup I play a dr00d, don't be a hater! =P Rawr! *scratch scratch* And that pet I am incubating in SWG will be done at around 6am tonight, I think. I miss when you could go out into the wild looking for babies to tame... I don't like playing mad scientist with this giant incubating machine thing and all these enzymes and doodads. But it is definitely a lot more involved than before, with chances and combinations for mutations (how you get a rancor) and such. And you can choose color, stats, etc. It is just like crafting something, with loot quality being involved and everything. You even need a special type of power to run the incubator. It is a good system so far, just not as fun for me as taming a baby. I don't like making clones! However, choosing the stats and whatnot of your pet in the 3 stages as you make it is a really good thing that you couldn't do before. The control and complexity should please old CH's.

Grats on 70, as a holy spec priest you should be able to get lots of groups and tons of kick ass gear.

I've not been in a pug yet since I've been back. I don't plan to either if I can help it... Pugs have made me lose my sanity more than a few times!

I have found its very easy to lose aggro at 70 because of the dps some classes can pump out. Healing aggro though shouldn't be a issue if the warrior can put a little hurt on the multiple targets. If you are horde laz you should come to medivh, I'll show you a good tank.

Teamwork is a major part of most mmo's. It is in wow. That means dps classes shouldn't be going all out if it is causing the tank to lose aggro. Half the time when a tank loses aggro, it isn't because he or his gear sucks, it is because the dpsers suck. Dpsing involves more than doing the most damage you can do. Dpsing means doing as much as you can without causing a group wipe from making the aggro come off the tank. That's just how it works. I feel bad for tanks who get persecuted when there was nothing they could do. Edit: And yes, come to Medivh if you want to see a good tank. We have a few! Ehrgeiz is a beast. Always has been lol.

I think you can transfer from pvp to pve, it quick and easy if you want to pay for it.

Not really you can be flagged pvp all the time if you want and get attacked whenever just like pvp, pve server are the normal server blizzard always intended pvp was only put in after much whining. I used to pvp all the time but it gets old after a bit, I find instances to be much more fun.

Same here for the pvping all the time, Ehrgeiz. Pvping too much has caused me to take a break from the game a few times! lol As for pvp server vs. pve server, I've never played on a pvp server, so I can't offer a perspective from both sides. But what Ehrgeiz says is true, it does seem like it would be just like a pvp server, but with one exception. Anyone could attack you at any time, but you couldn't attack anyone at any time unless they wanted you to. That is the one major difference I can think of without ever playing on a pvp server. Pve servers ain't that bad.
