ok wtf...i hate technology

ok so im getting back into CoH...I reinstall, load up, and i cant see my damned cursor...and at the bottom of the screen it says i need to update my graphics card driver...

OK...understandable, so i close the program and DL/install the newest driver...restart/loadup game and poof...no cursor and the same damned message at the bottom of the screen...really pissing me off...i know you guys dont play CoH but if anyone can offer assistance it would be rewarded with hawt spanks from the left and right

No, it sounds much more like it is a software issue. Maybe you'll even get to play the wonderful "pick the right driver version" game. It's soooo fun. You see, sometimes older drivers will have a problem like that, but the newest ones do too...but some driver versions between the two might not have that problem. Yes, I know what you're thinking. And yes, it is ridiculously stupid. It would probably be easier to get a new graphics card like Kin said lol.

MISSING POINTERS

In some instances, loading the game client on Vista will result in your cursors/pointers not showing up. This is an easy fix.

1-Right click your desktop shortcut for the City updater.
2-Select 'Properties'. Make sure you are in the 'Shotcut' tab.
3-Select the 'Target' field. It should look something like this: "C:\Program Files\CoH Test\CohTest\CohUpdater.exe"
4-Add -compatiblecursors 1 to the end of the target, so that it looks like this:

"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.exe" -compatiblecursors 1

If you have installed your game to the default location, you can copy and paste the line above into your target field.

Another easy fix I read is to run the game in windowed mode, but the drawback of that fix is that your fps will likely drop.

0.o Garsh. I assumed CoH, I forgot about CoH. I hope he meant CoH and not CoH! Because if he didn't mean CoH then I did that research for no reason. =(

BTW, I haven't played CoH. If it is that game, tell me how it is. I beta-tested CoH a bit though. It was fun back then, I bet it is 10x better now with CoV out too and all the other improvements they must have made by now.
