ok if this is true, and Bioware does do a new sw mmorpg WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!! But they better do it the right way the first time!!!!!!!Cause if 1 year down the road they pull some shit like what SOE did, I am going to hurt someone.!!!!!!!!!I hope they have more content and battles, and more story driven quests. AND LETS NOT FORGET SPACE CONTENT EITHER. But since this is going to be in the time line of KOTOR we wont have to hear any bitchin about death stars and darth vader and all the shit like we did in SWG. "Whens the new time line comeing?"<whinny vioce> Maby we will even get more interactive NPC's. We will see.
The moment someone hears of Beta testing PLEASE let me know.

HUMMM, ALSO I WOUNDER WHAT THE FACTION WILL BE SINCE THIS IS IN kotor time line. I know the old republic, but who will the dark forces be? and i prey they have Jedi faction and Sith Factions this time. I am even thinking if they do this time i will fall to my darkside. Aye. I still think space is fun in SWG, but that gets old quickly because they haven't added any substantial space content since Rage of the Wookiees. Crafting is also still fun, but again, that gets old as well with the economy (uber quest rewards) and the way the clunky/buggy/down-right-annoying UI is nowadays.
Another thing that is still fun is hanging out in cantinas. That always was and still is a blast. But it still has the same old problems. AFKer's and low number of patrons. I remember when every big-city cantina was packed with people. Entering one was a lag nightmare...but was well worth it! They added some cool things to entertainers now that make it more interesting to not only watch and listen to them, but to be one as well.
Those things may still be fun to me (or were the last time I did a free trial), but they aren't nearly enough to make it worthwhile...especially considering each of them still has ancient problems.
As for a KOTOR MMO, well, there's even more potential in that idea than SWG once had! Much more. The story and lore is much more flexible in a non-movie time-line, for one thing. As for factions, there could be a bunch. There could be good guys, bad guys, grey guys. We could have the Jedi, the Crime Lords (Hutts, smuggling, yay!!), the Sith, the Republic, the Mandalorians. And the Mandalorians could fall into the bad guy or grey category depending on when the time-line is set.
And I'm sure BioWare could come up with many more, although I'm not sure they'd want to. I don't know how complex BioWare would make a MMO. KOTOR was a simple game with a complex storyline and character development. The story and the character intrigue are what made it such a great game, not mechanics in any way. That is, of course, IMO. BioWare has never made a MMO, right? So it is really hard to guess what it'll be like. And that just makes it even more tantalizing and exciting!

if they do make a KOTOR MMO i hope they throw housing in there.. god that would be so great because i LOVED the housing and customization in swg.
oh and if they made the cities on the same layout that would be awesome too because then id know exactly where i was going lol
they need vehicles too
