when you get in neek, take the time to set things back up before the nge keymap wise. it really helps to keep frustration down lol. Like mine i have
Datapad = ctl+d
planetary map = ctl+v
overhead map = ctl+m
character sheet= ctl+c
abilities = ctl+a
skill path = ctl+s
light = ctl+l
check the option to fire specials from keyboard
set intended target to = T
toggle auto aim = Y
auto attack = R
Primary Action/Default Action (Couldn't remember exact term) = Left mouse button
Move Forward = right mouse button
That setup there sort of brought the pre-nge feel back for me.

Well, her and I are stuck at the "connecting" page. I was able to get one update I think but now, it's just stuck. something's happening at the firewall maybe but since I got admin on that, let's go unlock some ports |

Nalana and I are trying it out too. She made a trader and I made a jedi. Not final choices, but I wanted to see what all has changed For anyone that doesnt know us, we played wow for awhile.. |

Gairlan?! Nalana?! In SWG?! NO WAI! You say you are trying it out, and then say that you want to see what has changed. I think I remember you saying that you've never played it before, but now I'm not so sure. Are you trying it out for the first time or coming back again?

I'm glad we have bunches of people giving SWG another shot. =D
PS
RSF, if you don't already know, Gairlan and Nalana ROCK. <3 They're married, so that makes flirting with the both of them even more fun (and dangerous)!
Also, if you decide to try something other than Jedi, I recommend BH. Those are the two professions with expertise (talents) right now, although I don't think it would make much of a difference for most of the levels. The rest of the profession's expertise is being made as we speak! I think smuggler is next. /grin
As for crafting, I enjoy and recommend shipwright if you're into space. I haven't really tried the other ones though. Shipwright can be pretty complicated, not sure about the others. Entertainer is always fun also, and Nalana might enjoy that. I know I loved it when I had an entertainer Wookiee alt! I'd have one now if I didn't need one of my 3 alt slots to be a crafter for reverse engineering space l00t, and the third is reserved for, of course, a smuggler.
I'm so happy. ;D
