There's 3 or 4 of them, which one are you talking about?
I thought the one with the urinals was clever. xD

kickass
Jedi:
The Jedi animations for the following skills have been changed: Shiim Strike, Cho sun Strike, Shiak Strike, Su Strike, Mou kei Strike, Cho mok Strike, Sai cha Strike, Jung Ma, Sun djem Jung Ma, Shiak Jung Ma, Jung Su Ma, Mou kei Jung Ma, Cho mak Jung Ma, Sai tok Jung Ma. Skill animations for one handed lightsabers/swords and two handed lightsabers/swords should now be working properly.

I think I tried it out on TC. I say I think because I didn't read the patch notes, I just got on there to try smuggler at cl90 again. (they actually have a lot of moves compared to before, btw!) But on a whim I made a Jedi and noticed their moves look *much* better than before. I only tried a 1h saber though. Anyway, I think what I saw was this change. It looked good! The game is getting better bit by bit. I also noticed that Jedi have about half as many moves as a smuggler. =/ That doesn't make them weaker, just less fun in my eyes. Another thing I noticed was even with much less armor (only 5k in those knight robes, vs the 7k my smuggler could get), the Jedi was taking a whole heck of a lot less damage. The Jedi would dodge and whatnot a lot, whereas my smuggler would um...how do I put this kindly...take it like a man! lol Also, I think they made force run even faster. It seems a lot faster than I remember. I could be wrong, though. I just don't remember it being *that* fast. I was like a bat out of hell! lol

its been as fast as a swoop for awhile so that they could catch up to ppl running away 0.o lol, Jedi must be really annoying in pvp. On a side note, I also toyed around with BH. That class seems like it would be a blast to play, especially in pvp! They have a ton of moves, (I spent expertise trying to get as many moves as possible lol) and the single-target damage was really nice (I was rifle specced, dunno about carbines), and there was one aoe move in particular that did good damage and had a very, very wide radius. Also, almost every single move could be used in melee as well. I also noticed that through expertise BH's can become tanks. High armor and several aggro generating moves. And by high armor, I mean high armor! I had 8444 Kinetic and 7944 Energy. 18444 Kinetic and 17944 Energy with a shield you get through expertise up. That shield lasts about 30 seconds, and has what felt like a 5 min cooldown. I know none of that is news, but heh, it was interesting. If it weren't for me wanting a SW alt to RE stuff and me being really stubborn about having to have a smuggler as my main, BH would definitely be my alt. I see now why the smugglers feel so weak. I hope this next chapter is good to them.

did you start a whole new account or are you on the trial? I started on a trial, but when time ran out I wasn't quite done trialing yet! So I am on a whole new account now. I'm Master Pilot already! I got it at level 18, I thought that was funny. It shows where my interest in the game lies. Way up in the sky, not down on the ground. lol What's even funnier is that I leveled up three times in space from the small amount of ground xp you get with each kill. Four now, since I leveled up once in space after getting Master. Now I need to see how the space pvp scene on Starsider is, and get to CL90 and see how Smugglers are now. I also have some harvesters down to slowly acquire the resources I need for the grind to Master Shipwright. I read that the grind is only ~3.5 hours if you have all the resources. So the hard part will be getting those resources. REing here I come! If I decide to get serious with the game, I'll need to find a group of people to play with. I think that will be the hardest thing to do.

I hate to say it, your post has sparked my curiosity into this game...
Keep it up.
As for BH, can they hunt other people?
Can a CL 90 BH kill actually a person?
I remember.... it was really hard back in the beginning for any BH to kill anybody because they needed good armour and... - well what I'm saying is if it is gear oriented still?

I hate to say it, your post has sparked my curiosity into this game... Keep it up. As for BH, can they hunt other people? Can a CL 90 BH kill actually a person? I remember.... it was really hard back in the beginning for any BH to kill anybody because they needed good armour and... - well what I'm saying is if it is gear oriented still? Yes they can hunt other players, and not just Jedi. This is a very brief rundown of how it works: Two players engage in pvp. Player 1 gets deathblown by player 2. Player 1 can now put a bounty on player 2, of however many credits they want. Player 2 now has a bounty on their head. If two people put a bounty on his head for 50k each, his total bounty is 100k. It keeps adding up like this. > Then BH's just go to a terminal and start hunting him down with droids and such. When/if they eliminate the target, they get the reward in full! BH's can also hunt Smugglers when the smuggler accepts one of the higher-ranking smuggler missions. (you can choose to do pvp smuggling missions, the reward is greater for them I guess) Once the smuggler accepts this mission, their name is automatically put onto the BH terms and BH's can hunt them. The smuggler has to finish the mission without getting killed! No easy task considering the many tools BH's have at a) tracking down their opponents and then b) keeping them still and making them dead. It's great. As for gear vs skill, I'd be lying to you if I said it was purely skill based. It is still like most mmo's in that gear plays a large part in it. However, it does take skill. This skill is mainly in knowledge of the game, like your class and the other class - what each is capable of and the different strategies they might use on you and how to counter them. The other thing is timing, timing your specials. For smuggler, a good example is a move that lowers an opponents damage output by 75% for about 5 seconds. That move is a good one to use when you are low on health and your heal isn't ready, or when you know your opponent is about to let go a big nuke or barrage of heavy damaging specials. That's where knowledge of the game and your opponents comes into play. It's just like every other mmo I've played really. It's the same for WoW. There's no twitch or anything. Skill comes in form of timing and knowledge. At least that's how I see it. /shrug And all of this is coming from what I've seen and what conclusions I draw from the moves and combat system in general, not from personal experience, as I'm still only cl19. And I certainly can't say how much gear or skill factors towards success in terms of percentages or anything. But I have read some accounts on the smuggler boards of them beating a much better equipped (armor on vs a casual-dressed smugg) and prepared (buffs) opponent when a BH comes after them by outwitting them. So I'm sure skill helps, but gear is still very important too, because it is still a mmo.
