**Disclaimer** This story in no way reflects how I feel about the members of RSF. It is just a simple story. I hope all of you like it. Enjoy ************
Fort Ootinni, Tatooine, is the home of the most elite warriors from the time of the Galactic Civil War. Formerly known as the Rebel Special Forces, they were now known as the Republic Special Forces. It has been several years since Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine fell to the Rebel Alliance and order has been restored to the New Republic, governed by Supreme Chancellor Mon Mothma.
The Republic Special Forces is commonly used by Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy as an off location training ground for its students. Vikrant, Eoro Fesh, Phenix Troy, Kindreth Kin, Baile, Kendall, Xaira Lightstar, Ank'hara Odelli, and Neek Pryce were all granted the rank of Jedi Master by Skywalker for their efforts in defeating the Empire. They often assist Master Skywalker and Master Kyle Katarn with instructing the young padawans before they are assigned a Master Jedi to further their teaching.
But something was amiss, Master Skywalker has mentioned to Master Vikrant several times that he feels uneasy when he visits that part of his home planet. Although the Sith have been destroyed, Skywalker senses the presence of the Darkside surrounding the calm city...
Master Vikrant felt a great pain in his chest, a disturbance in the Force. A cry of pain echoed through his mind. The voice sounded familiar, yet indistinct. Someone was is terrible pain, but he could not sense who exactly it was.
Vikrant regained his composure and rose to his feet, his meditation had been interrupted. Suddenly Master Kendall burst into his chamber, nearly out of breath as if he had run a great distance.
“Master Vikrant!” exclaimed Kendall, “I fear something terrible has just happened.”
“I sense it as well Master Kendall” Vikrant replied. “What did you sense?”
Kendall explained, “I sense someone in great danger, but not just anyone. I fear it is someone we know well.”

Screams of excruciating pain echoed throughout the Prison Level of a massive capital ship. One one cell, a middle-aged human prisoner was wishing for a quick death. His clothes appeared to have been torn to shreds, his shirt was practically non-existent. He had been magnetically shackled to the ceiling and left to hang free. Every few seconds he would receive a shock of electricity from a crudely made torture device.
His face was scarred, signs of brutal beatings from his captors. The flesh on his back was charred from the constant shocks he received. Suddenly, he heard something that took his mind off of the torture device...footsteps on the grated metal hallway outside his cell. They were growing louder, he knew that his captors were coming.
The door flew open and a tall, burly Zabrak, escorted by two stormtroopers, entered the cell. He wore glossy crimson body armor and his black leathery cape draped over one shoulder. His head had no hair, except for a topknot on the crown, his forehead had three large yellowing spikes that seemed for form an upside-down triangle. His boots made an ominous thud as he slowly approached the prisoner. The captive hesitantly looked into the eyes of his host, a mistake he had made several times before. The eyes were dragon yellow, but the prisoner could not avert his gaze. Angrily, the large Zabrak grabbed the prisoner by his cheeks with a large, spike-knuckled glove.
"How dare you disrespect me in my own ship...again. Jedi Scum!!" the Zabrak barked. "Are you ready to talk?"
The Zabrak let go of the Jedi, allowing him to speak as he swung about.
"I...wish I could say it's good to see you again Baron Thornn, unfortunately I sense you are here to cause me more pain." the Jedi replied.
"Well that depends on you, tell me where I can find the Blade of Exar Kun and you shall have your freedom." replied the Baron.
"I told you!! I don't know!! Besides, you'll never find it, it has been well hidden from the likes of you."
Baron Thornn turned away from the Jedi in frustration. His gloves made a leather-squeaking sound as he clenched his fists. "I grow tired of this! I shall give you one last chance to tell me where the Blade is!"
"Never!!" screamed the Jedi.
"So be it." Thornn said as he glared at the Jedi. "Leave us!!"
The stormtroopers turned around and left the cell, closing the door behind them. Baron Thornn lifted his hand and the room began to rumble. The Jedi tried to scream out in pain but his voice would not work. Then he began to contort and convulse, he felt as if he were being crushed. Soon everything went black.
Baron Thornn lowered his hand, and the newly expired Jedi fell to the floor. Blood began to trickle from his eyes, nose, and mouth. The Baron walked over to the body and kicked the Jedi in the face.
"Pathetic!!" Thornn scoffed. "No wonder the Jedi almost went extinct."
Baron Thornn left the cell, an Imperial Remnant Captain met him in the hallway.
"My Lord?" asked the Captain. "You have an incoming transmission from SSissk. He says he's found something that might interest you on Dantooine."
"Good! I sense this may be the clue we need to find the Blade of Exar Kun. Set a course for Dantooine." said Baron Thornn.
"Right away my Lord." replied the Captain as he turned around to head to the bridge.

Xaira Lightstar found herself in pitch-black darkness. She could hear the sound of herself breathing heavily, as if she had ran across the Dune Sea. There were echoing sounds of lightsabers colliding, ominous laughter, and the sound of boots scuffling hastily across a metal floor.
Then a deep voice rang out.
"Good! Now destroy him!! DO IT!! DO IT NOW!!!"
"NOOO!!"
More lightsaber hums and hisses followed.
“Enough of this!!!”
“KINDRETH NO!!!!”
Suddenly Xaira felt as if all the air had been pulled out of her lungs. Then she heard Kindreths voice.
“XAIRA!! Xaira!”

Kindreths voice started with a tone of panic but slowly became more relaxed each time Xaira heard her name. The darkness began to fade and his face started to materialize. She looked around and discovered she was safe in Kindreths house.
“Xaira, wake up. You were having a nightmare.” Said Kindreth.
“Uhn” Xaira moaned as her eyesight began to adjust to the darkness. “What happened?”
“I don’t know, I woke when I heard you gasp for air and found you arching your back as if you were in pain.” Replied Kindreth.
Xaira broke into tears and embraced Kindreth, for the experience for her was all too real.
“I need to get some air,” Xaira said as she let go of Kindreth. “I’m going to go for a walk and try to calm down a little.”
“Do you want me to come along?” asked Kindreth.
“No, you had a tiresome day and you need your sleep. Besides, I’ll be alright.” She replied.
“Ok, if you insist. I’ll be here if you change your mind.” Kindreth said as he laid back down on the bed.
Kindreth stared and watched her as she gathered her outer robes, trying to catch one last glimpse of her naked silhouette in the moonlight before it was covered once again. Xaira looked back at him and smiled as she slipped on the robe.
“Why do you always look at me like that?” Xaira asked playfully.
“I just do.” Replied Kindreth.
“I don’t have anything new you haven’t seen before.” Laughed Xaira.
“Aww really? Well damn! I’m just kidding by the way.” Kindreth laughed back.
“I’ll be back shortly.” Xaira smiled as she put her hood up and exited the house. Kindreth let out a large sigh and made himself comfortable while he waited for his lovers return.
-------------------------------------------------------------
The Tatooine air of Fort Ootinni was cool but not cold this particular night. The moon was high in the sky. Xaira looked up at it as she wiped some of the remaining tears from her face.
Xaira felt drawn towards the mountains to the southeast of Fort Ootinni. She could hear the battle cries of the Sand People coming from Fort Tusken near the other side of the city. But she wasn’t worried, for Fort Ootinni was under constant guard. The light from the torches and streetlights glowed eerily among the buildings causing the guards to look like shadows as the patrolled the streets.
Xaira continued up the hill when suddenly she felt as if she were no longer alone. She closed her eyes and focused on her surroundings. She was definitely not alone.
“I had a feeling you would grace me with your presence tonight.” Xaira said as she lowered her hood and looked over her shoulder. Behind her was a faintly glowing figure, a young attractive man wearing a long Jedi robe. His hair was about shoulder length, and his face still had the look of a young boy.
“Are you trying to stalk me or something?” Xaira smiled as she looked at the man. “I don’t think Kindreth would approve, not that he could do anything about it. Hehe.” Then she bowed deeply to the figure. “But I am honored once again to see you Master Anakin Skywalker.”
“Stalking? I think not. I had my fill of stalking you and your friends during the Galactic Civil War. I felt an inner conflict in you and wanted to ask you about it.” Anakin replied.
“Oh! It’s nothing, just a stupid nightmare.” Xaira claimed.
“I used to have nightmares, at first I thought nothing of them. But then they began to grow more clear and vivid. Eventually they effected my ability to use the force effectively.” Anakin said. “Perhaps you should meditate on this a little more before you call it ‘nothing.’”
“Perhaps, but I don’t want to worry about it.” Xaira explained.
“Worry? Or fear? I sense a great deal of fear in you Xaira, this isn’t the first time you’ve had the vision is it?” Asked Anakin.
“It wasn’t a vision!” Xaira interrupted.
“How can you be so sure? The Force will show you many things: past, present, and future.” Anakin replied. “Search your feelings and a solution will present itself.”
“Thank you Master Skywalker, may the force be with you.” Xaira bowed once again. “Your guidance is always appreciated.”
Xaira pulled her hood over her head and began the walk back down to Fort Ootinni. Anakin stood and watched as she disappeared down the hill.
“Do you think she’ll ever know who she truly is?” Anakin asked.
Suddenly Obi-Wan Kenobi slowly materialized beside him. “We may never know, she has to learn these things on her own. I could sense that you wanted to tell her but it is not your place. I believe all will be revealed to her at the right time.”
Anakin replied, “I hope you are right, she has much ability and skill locked away. If she were to learn the truth, she could possibly be one of the most powerful Jedi the galaxy has ever seen.”
The two Jedi slowly faded away, laving nothing on the mountain except the cold Tusken March wind.
